Anybody had good luck with this conversion. If so, where did you put the thermostatic switch for them. I'm considering puting an inline adapter in the hose. Secondly, what size and brand fans did you use.

There is an electric thermostat you can get at Advance Autoparts that plugs into the fins of the radiator for a reading. It includes a relay.

Yes, thankyou but I am aware of thoes kind. I guess I should have been more specific. I've tried several different brands of thermostats of that type and never had any luck in them lasting. I've tried 3 different Hayden units and they all failed prematurely. One such failure destryed the cylinderhead. It only lasted 4 days, its predecessor lasted 2 weeks.

I want to run a real thermostat in the water. Maybe if there is a better brand of radiator fin thermostat I'll try it in the mean time.

i wired up a set of altima fans to the ecu's fan switching system, works like a charm, here's my write up:
