'95 240 has problems starting NEED HELP ASAP!!!

SCENARIO:im driving home from school on the freeway for about 10-15 minutes. at this point, the needle on the temp gauge is either at the half way point or a little over the half way point. i get home and turn the car off. i try to turn the car back on but it wont even turn. i wait for about an hour and let the car cool off and it turns on, no problem. WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!

this has happened way too many times and i cant figure out why. i have a rough idea but i dont wanna say what it is cuz i dont wanna have any1 agree cuz of "power of suggestion" and then it not being the problem. any help would be greatly appreciated.

So the car wont crank, or it wont turn over....... In other words, does the starter do something, but the engine doesnt go, or does nothing happen when you turn the key.

Your starter is bad. After the motor has been running for some time, the starter gets heat soaked and many of the windings inside the starter get shorted out. After it cools down, the shorts go away and it's OK again.

nothing happens at all...no crank no turn no nothing. i also have another theory and ill test it out tomorrow and post back here with the update.
