yeah..i tried using my window and it doesnt go down. i hear a clicking in the little white box when i use the switch. ive check all the switches and everything seems to be connected. could it be the motor or do i need a new white box thing.

"Power window not going down, get stuck or stop working? Its probably your window Window Amplifier. Window Amplifiers are a common failure for 240SXs"

You could hit a junkyard just look for a 96+ as another 95 may fail again or just buy new for peace of mind..

check the motor first. there's a connector where the wire goes into the door, seperate that and connect a 12v source to it. one way is up, reverse the polarity for down. if the window works, it's the amp, if it doesn't, it's the motor.

actually only the 95's have the window amplifier, nissan got rid of it with a new wiring design starting with the 96 240sx's because the window amplifier is such a piece of junk.

I had the same problem and just fixed mine 10 mins ago, the power window was bad. I just got another one from a junk yard. pretty easy install. If you have doubts test the voltage coming out of the amplifier if you have a voltimeter, or connect the motor wires to a 12v source to see if anything happens.

Well my passengers side goes down but at times doesn't go up. I said **** it and don't use the window anymore. I might fix this problem down the road but their are more important stuff.

yeah, smae problem before here. Just bought a new one. Install was easy, helps if you have someone to hold the window for you though.
