95 240 "clunk" sound

i just bought an s14 for really cheap and sometimes when i shift it makes this clunk sound. it always does it when i apply the brakes and let off them fast. it sounds like its coming from the rear drivers side. please help... its a 5 speed, dont think it has an VSLD because its the base model

bushings perhaps? can i tell by looking at them?

look over your control arm bushings real good and your diff mount bushings.
