I have a race car and this is just a every day get to work car..and the reason i dont wanna do the 20" 150 spokes with system is because everyone says its gonna look retarted...

what you do with your car is your buisness, but nobody else is going to think 150spoke 20" rims will look even remotly good.

if you want show car you could always convert it to either scissor or gullwing doors, and own, and chameleon paint!

this thread is a joke right?

Sadly no, this isn't a joke I dont think. Dude do whatever you want to your car, since it is *your* car, as j-spec said. But if you want respect from *true* enthusiasts, start by not getting 20" rims and a big arse system.

As a general rule, always keep your dependable transportation dependable, unmodified, and off the theft radar.

As another general rule, wires are ghey.

Dude, 18" rims look somewhat huge on a 240. Why in gods name would you put 150 spoke 20" rims on a 240sx. It's not a lowrider. It's a sport compact. If I were you I'd put that money into the engine. And judging by the amount of cash your thinking of spending to put 20's on a 240 you could make your car scream instead. RHD makes no sense in the US anyways. Can you imagine passing someone on the freeway during rush hour in a RHD car. Personaly I think that'd blow! But that's my opinion.

Has to be a joke.

If not. RHD as well as 20s are simply not practical for daily driving.

I don't think 20" would fit. If it would it wouldn't drive like the way it should. and also your car gonna look like 4x4 with 20" .. cause you can't lower it that much

I'm thinking RHD would be cool. So would a great sound system and paint. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the image of 20" wires and can't quite pull it off. I guess it's just a matter of personal taste; sorta like picking out a shirt to wear in the morning. If you have the $$$, the desire, and it can be done safely, I say go for it. It's your car and a canvas for your own personal expression. Just my $ 0.02 worth:ylsuper

eh, just throwing ideas out..I figure noone would like the idea of 20's and i just needed to kinda be put into place :D but anyways, being a 240 newb..what are some decent rims to throw on. i wont be getting a body kit or anything like that, so it will need to look good with the stock body. I kinda just wanna keep her stockish. Also why the hateing on the RHD? Ive always wanted one and know quite a few people who own rhd hondas and they love them. dunno.. thanks for the feedback

No hating here on the RHD. I've always thought that would be fun to have. I had a buddy way back (in the '70s) who had a RHD Beetle he brought back from England when he was in the service. I was just a young kid at the time but have always thought that was a unique thing to have here in the U.S. market. Tire Rack has a fairly good selection of wheels for your car that you can see here:

Check the FAQs as well for ideas and welcome to the board!

I'd just love to see how a lowered 240 would not rub with 20's. Teh sidewall would have to be non-existant.

I do agree that you should do what you want. No matter what popular opinion is:

"You laugh at me because I'm different, well I laugh at you because you are all the same."
