The kind of race where a stock 200SX SE hits the governor probably isn't legal to begin with. Specifically, the GA16DE - even with any mods I've heard of one having short of the rare turbo - would have quite a challenge getting to that speed.

Drive smart, then figure out the whole "project car" thing.

To answer the question: search, there's something you have to cut. I think it's the same as the 240 boys do.

Several different methods have been tried to eliminate the governor, most have failed and that is on the SE-R. Driving a SE @ 110mph is almost pointless anyways, because it would take forever to get there.

That is the only way to do it "right".

Looking at some wiring diagrams I have laying around from when I built one of my friends a swap harness... I am pretty sure that if you were to cut the wire connecting to pin #26 on the ecu it would disable the speed limiter as well. Considering that is the wire the ecu uses to read the speed signal, cutting it would keep the ecu from reading the vehicles speed. But as stated above, there really is no point in doing this on a ga16... And it is also one of those things where I feel if you need to ask how to do it - you don't need to be doing it!
