I have a 1995 Nissan 200sx with 120,000 miles and it was running great until last week when it started to have problems starting rough, on fast acceleration it will cough, sputter, and pop - no power. I have changed the plugs, wires, cap and rotor, and fuel filter, but it still runs rough when I try to accelerate. Under light acceleration it does not seem to have this problem. Has anyone had this problem or does anyone have a suggestion?

I've had this problem before and it was a leaking headgasket. upon light throttle fuel would still ignite but when flooring it the antifreeze coming in would not allow one of the cylinders to fire and caused the sputtering.

Could also be the MAF going out. May not be reading the right amount of air and dumping fuel.

Start with the MAF
