Valued Q45 Tech - Sunroof Getting Stuck/Mid Vent not working.

Problem just started yesterday (02/14/04).

Description:Sunroof motor runs for "main" forward/backward motion.Sunroof motor does not run for Mid-Vent movement up/down.

Sunroof stops retracting motion at mid-vent point when opening.Upon closing, front of sunroof touches frame lip. However, rear lip of sunroof is not flush and leaves a downward gap.

Solution and/or suggestions:???

Wow, yesterday was the day to discover sunroof problems! I have a thread on this also. Mine tilts fine, but doesn't work well opening and closing. Weird that I found the problem while it's rainy and cold - but I wanted it open after I parked in the garage so as to let the smell of the leftovers from our Italian meal air out of the car :D
