I notice that the lockup converter will not lock untill the trans. gets hot. The car has 90k. Trans was flushed at 60K when the trans cooler was installed. Is this normal? Thanks in advance.

The ATF temperature sensor/tcu adjust shift presurre and 3rd/4th gear lockup based on fluid temperature.

Ideally the ATF should be at least 150F before things act normally. And not exceed 180F.
