hey guys........i totaled my q this mornin....i dunno what to do.....i'm soo ****ed...the engine is all ****ed..any suggestions on what to do w/ the Q? *besides tossing it in the junk yard?*

Are you ok? thats the most important thing, I woul salvage any thing I could and just part it out, hope it all works out for ya and once again glade your ok.

just a fracture in my hand.....and a great car ****ed by me...how would i part it out? like send it sum where to see what i can get outta it?

Are you okay?

How long did you have it? How'd it happen?

You say the engine is ????ed, I guess it was a front ender.

Make sure you don't get the short end of the stick in the settlement. There's a thread about how to negotiate w/ the Insurance company. You DON'T have to take their first offer and it may be better for you to get it (pre-salvaged title) and part out, versus just taking a check. I think there's a thread discussing this especially if the damage isn't structural.

yeaaaaaa all i had was liability insurance....... so they ain't covering the car at all........... soo i look up the street and the women is like a block and a half away...i look down at directions...and look up as i turn and she's right infront of me...makes it kinda fishy cuz it's hard to travel a block and a half in a couple of seconds..........thanx i'll need all the luck i can get...

Is there anyway the fault could be the womans?Some states dictace the fault is always shared to some extent.

Also:Everyonce in a while some fine used cars show up in out BST section.

You should try to sell as many parts from it as possible...then junk the rest of the car. Granted you can't get the full value of the car but you'd be surprised at how much you can easily make from parts.

I am really sorry for your lost man...what part(s) of the car was damaged and what is available? I am looking for a passenger side fender.

I think you will be able to recover a decent amount by parting it out...

I have a 90Q that is approaching the end, and I will do it...I am sorry to hear about your misfortune.

If her airbag depolyed, the insurance company can recover all the diagnostics of the last 5 seconds of her car, before the accident, including acceleration, speed, braking, etc.

It may costo some money, but cars don't lie, and if she was speeding, you might win.

i think my 10 disc changer is still good...after i got in the accident and the air bags deployed the music skippeed and kept playing.......erm i think basically the whole front of the car is gone...fender and som of the side door........but everything else is alright...so if sum one needs like a tail light or sumfin its still good....thanx for the support guys

What color was the car? I need a green passenger side mirror. I think someone was looking for the trunk light. It's a few posts down from this.

it's black 94 Qthink my trunk light is still good...imma wait a couple of days for the insurance to take sum pictures first....me and my brother do beleive she was speeeding...

thanx i preciate it...i know i'm supposed to be a man nd stuff...but when i was goin to the hospital..i took a look at my car and cried like a baby.....it's a bad sight...too painful >.<

yea i'm going to need a couple of months...i'm still 2Gs in debt and after i need to work my *** off for anoher car.....thinking about a manual but thats too far into the future....

I know it will be a while.But we can make it happen great cars will be on the BST boards.In the last few months we have seen soem awesome Q's for sale.

And I know a couple of members will likely sell some well- maintained Q's in the next few months.
