'94Q with shift interlock problems

Tried to go for a drive the other night, and the shifter would not move.Fuses were ok. Had to remove the plug on the console and release the interlock by hand. Radio stopped working at the same time.

Anything I can check/fix myself??

Alright, heres what im going to do.. Im looking at the wiring digrams right now and looking for similarties... Both diagrams are located below..

I see basicaly NO similarties between the shift lock wiring diagram and the radio. They share no fuses, no common grounds, and so on... I want to treat them as seperate entities, however IM also not inclined to believe in coincidences. Im so torn!
