94Q Security Alarm Problem

My 94Q security alarm goes off after I unlock and open the driver side door. This is after the car has been sitting for over 5 minutes.

The alarm will not go off if I use the remote key fob to unlock the door, if I use the remote key fob to unlock the trunk first, or if I use the key to unlock the passenger side door first. I have not been able to find any causes in my manuals.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem? Thanks.

Obviously the driverside on lock alarm disable switch is defective and doesn't shut off the alarm...........high resistance or intermittent when you open and close door.

Thanks Q45TECH. Great insight as usual. Is this switch easy to replace (in the door, etc)? I have not located other posts on this issue.
