I have been experiencing a hard 3-4 shift when engine is warmed-up, start about 15 minutes after cold start. Before warm-up the shift is very smooth. Vehicle has 95K with a factory rebuilt transmission at about 55K. ATF is current and appears totally clear. No codes being generated by transmission led display. Any ideas? Any experience with bad transmission temperature unit? Could this relate to bad turbine revolution sensor?

Not unless the turbine sensor is leaking, which should be obvious from under neath.

Assume it is all rpm and throttle openings?

Maintenence history? External ATF cooler? Sure is an early failure for a transmission, but we don't know how you drive.

Welcome aboard. We have a solid core of G50 owners in the valley.

In the process of detailed check of TPS. Earlier check with analogue ohm meter appear normal. Vehicle has not been driven hard. Four years of its life the Q sat unused in my father's garage. Maintenance is pretty good: new O2 sensors, new connector on MAF(still with original MAF), changed one valve cover gasket & getting ready to do other, new water pump, changed upper links on front, in process of changing upper links rear, bushings changed on front control arms, changed fuel injectors. The list is a bit longer than I first thought. No AT cooler added, but will probably do so before Summer.

In regard to previous posting about removing rear bushings, I drilled out the rubber core and removed outer sleeve with cold chisel. Worked very easily with clean results. Will post some pictures soon.

Thanks for your reply.
