I'd start with a clean slate. Make sure it's in time to start with.
I'll summarize the FSM troubleshooting tactics for this condition. If that doesn't work, then I'll see if I can pull some other tricks out.
The next time it won't start, squeeze the fuel line going to the filter to see if it's building pressure while it's trying to start. If it is, disconnect and plug the vacuum hose going to the fuel pressure regulator. If the engine still won't start, then pull the distributor and disconnect the coil harness. With the ignition on, rotate the drive gear and see if all the injectors click. If they all work, then pull the 10A fuel pump relay fuse in the underhood box and plug the coil back in. Check the plugs to make sure they're getting spark. If they are, check the engine grounds and wiring connections. Clean the grounds for good measure. Put it back together and make sure it's back in time.
If it still won't start, try starting it with the throttle open. If it starts then, it's probably a IACV issue. If not, then you might want to try a different ECU.
Let me know how it goes.
