Hi all,

I was wondering if a 95 transmission can be put into a 90 Q45??? My transmission gave out and I aquired a rebuilt 95 from a friend? I know that the 95 has higher gears in 1st and 2nd but will that mess up the TCU? Will it even run? Also will all the 95's wiring marry up to the 90's? Do I have to get a 95 TCU?

Thanks for your help

Danniel

So are you saying that a 1994-1996 TCU would plug into the 1990 wiring harness? Has this been tried by anyone? Would going to 4,08 gear in rear end require TCU change?
