I've taken my Sentra 4 times for balancing, new rim, etc, to get the wobble/vibration out of the front tires. Not sure what's going on, but the back tires are cupping really bad, but the vibration seems to be coming from the front pass side. Switched front pass wheel (new) with cupped back pass, and it's a little better but still there. Jacked the front end up and ran the wheel - not much vibration that way. Nothing loose camber/caster/toe/control arm, etc.

What else could I check?

Thanks!Loren

Bent body frame? Bent rear suspension components? I was told the rear torsion beam setup don't have any adjustments but i can see someone hitting a pot hole and bending something there.

Does the front tires have any type of wear? Like cupping, feathering....etc. If you're getting a wobble I think maybe you have a shifted belt in the tire, just as seeing you said everything was tight front end wise. Were your inner and outer tierods tight? How about the ball joints? Where did you get the wheels balanced at? It is possible that their machine needs to be calibrated...couple of the ideas I can think of.

CV joint gone bad? (this was the cause of my wobble)

Wheel bearing?

Well if it was the CV Joint I'm pretty sure there would be clicking associated with that.

If the tires are in good shape meaning the belt hasn't slipped in it like someone said above. I would check the suspension...ie, ball joints, tierods, upper/lower control arms. Heck loose lug nuts could cause a wheel to vibrate a bit... Start small and simple and work your way up...

Thanks! This is a lot better than what my Haynes is givin' me to diagnose the problem.

Tell me what I should do to find the problem? The wobble seemed to come from the front pass, so I jacked it up to see if I could see/feel something in the wheel/control arm. No sign of being loose. Need to check the other wheels.

The most noticeable at this point is the badly cupped rear tires. Which is just wierd - they may have just been cheap, but it's more likely something causing that.

Lugs are @ 100 ft lbsFront tires have 4k mi and are smooth1-owner, No accidents or potholestook it to PepBoys and a Nissan specialist for balancing

Thanks again for the help!
