My wife noticed a puddle that was in front and behind the right front tire - more behind than in front. It is thin, not like the snot from the rear subframe bushings, and pretty clear - not like the Active Suspension fluid (greenish).

I had the tension rods replace ~15k ago and indeed, it didn't look like that bushing was bad....

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Brad

Like I answered at the Yahoo board, how are your fluids? Replaced all of your accumulators recently? I am betting the active fluid is old and the seals on that actuator blew. Does if drive strangely?

A little complete recent maintenance history, please.

I have replaced all accumulators (texasoil) ~15K ago, T3 has done all the work, including flushing transmission and adding oil cooler for it.

I drove it yesterday and it seemed fine - no warning lights. The fluid was a bit thicker than water, and when soaked into a paper towel had the light brown color like a thin (new) oil.

Will drive it around more today to do some errands and check the suspension fully.

Wasn't that like 3.5-4 years ago?

I hope a trip to T-3 for some rack time is scheduled as one of your errands!

Lucky you!

Yeah - it doesn't get driven a lot - 3-5miles a day during the week and 20 or so one day on the weekends (highway).

It really is pampered.

The new M45 recommends a minimum of 600 miles per month to maintain systems in owners manual and 90 day oil changes.
