Want to find a dealer-independent active-suspension expert to inspect and reset my ACSYS.

She's a thrill to drive -recharged all 9 cans from Texas Oil in August 2006. However, the idiot light reappears within the first minute of driving; and there's been an infrequent squeal and rise from the front driver wheel well that I attribute to the ACSYS.

Thanks in advance for your replies, advice, direction, to this post and my direct email at [email protected].

You will have to find an expert experienced tech with a Consult and the special active sotware card.

There should be at least half a dozen in US.

I thnk Q45tech may be suffering irrational exuberant optimism.

I would consult with Keith.

Hi Bob -

Euro Imports in Scottsdale... As far as I recall, they're staffed with some former Infiniti techs.

Call and ask for Steve Moten, tell him Greg from NICO sent you.

Second source: Midway Infiniti - Ask SPECIFICALLY for Dawn in Service, and tell her I sent you, ask her if Ken Waun can have a look at the car. He's the most knowledgeable Q45 tech I have met in AZ, having worked on the Q since 1989.

did you pull codes? how is your battery and alternator condition? the 94 active control units in particular seem to be sensitive to bad alternators. cascading failure modes it seems. i replaced my alternator pre-emptively after seeing the pattern. side benefit is that low rpm acceleration is much smoother now that the bearings are fresh in alt.

call Keith.

Interesting fact about the 'cascading' failure effect a bad alternator can have along with other related components.

However, it appears to function to peak OK.

I have attempted to discover the codes with help and coaching of Texas Oil, but to no avail -no code appear! This may be for reason that the car's 13-year-old switch is bad (maybe a couple dozen coffee-cup and soda spills will finally cause failure?).

Thank you for making me more keenly aware of the ACTSYS failure sensitivity.

Hey there AZ-Hitman!

I hope to some day catch you for a peek at my daily ride I enjoy so much through the Black Canyon and the Dreamy Draw up to the Boulders every day...

Thank you so much for the personal referrals.

I will make an appointment within the coming weeks to set my 'big-green's' ACTSYS right.

Thanks again!
