I've heard you guys talk about of Pie-pan wheels a few times. Are those the OEM wheels for the '94 Q45? Are mine the OEM version (see attached version)? I spoke with the parts manager at my Infiniti dealer and he said Infiniti never supplied crome wheels for the Q. I looked on the back of the lug nuts cover, and it says Nissan. Did someone just take the OEM wheels and covers and have them crome plated?

Many dealers plussed up their profits by chroming the factory pie pans and center caps.

OK, that explains what my parts guy said. Now I have a problem with the cover on one of the wheels. It the logo center piece is coming off of the plastic mounting piece. IT appears to have been glued on to this plastic piece and the chrome on the back of the top logo piece is seperating. I guess I can glue is back on, but is it possible to get another one somewhere?

I've attached a picture of whatis happening, sorry about the poor quality, but you'll get the idea. what you can't see is that the chrome is indeed coming off in the middle (the space between the top piece and the plastic bottim piece that attaches to the center of the wheel).

Ewww. Ive seen a lot of chrome piepans with that problem. As far as I know (not that far on this issue) you can go to a specialized auto style/performance shop and have it redone.
