'94 q45 turns off

it drives fine but when i stop at a light ect. it rev's down and up and stops running ive noteced the mufler puts while this hapens. after it dies on me im able to restart no problem it dosent do at every stop just every other.. help

Welcome To NICO. do some searching around and read up a little. there is endless information on this type of subject so you have defiantely come to the right place. But from what i remember the 2 main culprits are the MAF and the fuel pump. Does it sound like an angry swarm of bees in your trunk? if so you most likely have a fuel pump problem. But search and read up anyways.

I second that notion.. However, first check your MAF connector.. Wiggle the MAF connector at idle see if it changes anything...
