- my TCS & slip lights have been on for the last 4 months, the car "flies" down the road fine, idles at 625rpm it also chirps the tires at quick gettaways - when i checked on the price of those 2 relays they gave me some crazy price, so why bother....if your getting them at that price plz post where, tyvmB52 wrote:Hi, in my Q of 1994 TSC light is on, and SLIP.
I pulled the relays, which are under the battery and drove to the electrician.
He checked them on a machine and found that they are working.
Should I buy a new relay?
Please help. In my country nobody knows Q.

My question is do I have to buy new relays?
Thank you for your help, Chris
aliciaford wrote:Replace the relays under the battery! I replaced them about two years ago, and then the infamous lights came on a few months ago again. This time, I replaced the secondary Throttle position sensor to the tune of over $300 and the lights were still on. After much frustration, I decided to spend the $40 on two new relays. After I got the battery out and the little cover plate, I noticed one of the relays was cracked on the top and water was getting in there. No wonder. I would switch them no matter what the electrician says...

Fingers crossed that's the only thing wrong, everything else tends to be expensive to fix.
