94 Q45 stalls after reaching normal temp

The car will stall at cranking after it has been driven and sits for a while. I have to put one foot on the brake and give it gas while cranking up and then drive and it won't stall. Is it the Throttle Body that needs purging?

check fuel pressure.... you have any symptoms of a bad fuel pump?

Thanks Wes. The car runs fine, problem is cranking after the car is driven and parked for a few hours. Sometime the check engine light comes on which I assume is to do with the EGR? It is random after I drive it 10-15 miles it might come on every now and then. If I turn the car off and then turn it back on; the light does not come on.

Any thoughts.

check your ECU codes, thats the hint we may need.....

If its EGR its probably unrelated to the stalling issue, because if it was EGR related it SHOULD stall and run rough...

so let me ask you this: When you restart the car after it stalls, will it continue to stall, or will it start running OK again???

I need history on replacement of fuel pump and filter as well. do you hear any humming from the back seat area?

Wes: Once it cranks up it runs fine. I will check for the humming noise in the back to see if the fuel pump is working.

On another subject...Did all the 94 Q45's come with a CD changer in the trunk or was it an option?

Standard on t's and a's, optional on standard.

My Q45t did not come with a changer in the trunk, but my standard Q did. Go figure!

Yeah I dont think it was standard on T models, because my T didnt come with a CD changer (it has the dealer installed 6 cd)
