Here are some pictures of the on going saga of my Q45....The plenum was a b**** (for me) to remove. I found that there were two hoses that I just cut and the darn O2 sensor harness was holding on to a mounting bracket. But it's off it's off.... Now where do all of these hoses go????

One other thing that I found was a hose that goes between the plenum and the brake system was rotten.... I thing that this was the cause of my sluggishness. Also I found that one of the injectors was reading 10.1 ohms versus the 11.7 of one I replaced last year. All of the rest are in the 11.4 to 11.7 range.

The "damn spider" as it's called at my local dealership, is a pain the first time - but the learning curve isn't that bad. You'll be pulling it in 2 hours in no time

I figured it took about 3.5 hours to remove. I really was not too bad, just took a while to figure where or what was holding on to the plenum. As far as being able to pull one off in 2 hours. I hope to never have to do this again. But I did notice that there are injectors that can only be had by removal. Going to do the O2 sensors, valve covers and any bad injectors while it's off.
And yes that is an Optima, I have been using them for more than 10 years and have them in all 3 of my vehicles.

Thanks particularly for picture 4. It gave me a pretty good idea of what to leave connected, and encouraged me to start the job this weekend past (See "under plenum" in online mechanic).
But I wish I had re-read your first post where you mentioned the O2 sensor leads . . . oh well, the sensors needed replacing anyway.
