Over the weekend, I replace the following on my Q:

1. Replace the Oil, Air, Fuel Filters.

2. Replace the spark plugs.

3. Replace the EGR valve and clean all the air hoses connected the EGR valve

4. Clean the TB,

5. Add a can of BG 44K to the gas tank.

The Q is now running much better than before. I was trying to change the 02 sensor for both side. But I could not figure how to open it with the space around that area? Any advice?

ThanksTed

I used an 02 socket from a local parts store ($10) and snaked several extensions up between the engine and firewall and then broke it loose with a ratchet from up top. There's also a special "crow's foot" wrench that's available, but I couldn't find one easily, and this method worked well.

Actually had a buddy suggest heating fuel lines with a blow torch to get them off of the rails. I just looked at him with a "think about that statement mr. darwin award" look for a few minutes...

To answer Wes' question. Get plyers on the hose and twist and pull, or just cut and replace that section. I agree it's a bi%^ &!

I was getting ready to do it, and i was like.... OK no problem I just take off these twho hoses..... YEAH RIGHT!!! Im getting my oil changed and the shocks done mid next month, so Im sure they could throw in the new filter I got...... If I cut the hose, can I go to autoparts store and get fuel hose, or does it need OEM........

I have used one of those hose pick things (they are GOLDEN, everyone should have one), but I dont think I could get it on there.......

It needs to be "fuel injection" hose. They're made to withstand the much higher pressures of fuel injection systems than regular hose. Should be about $3/foot. I think 5/8" ID is what you need...maybe someone else can confirm?

Edit: Sorry, I meant 5/16", but I'm still not certain that'll work. Maybe 3/8"?
