Hey guys I just grabbed a 94 Q and threw on some factory 17 inch chrome wheels. I want to drop it a little bit but can't find any springs. Any advice?

There are not many lowering springs left in the world for Q45s of any generation. Your probably going to have to do coilovers and I am not even sure what is up with those.

Frankly, I would probably tell you get comfortable at stock ride heights, please do NOT cut those stock springs!!

you might find luck with these, but coilovers are going to be your only option. They had 1st Gen support but may have gone away, I would e-mail or call them.

Thanks for the info Jeff. I may put a little heat to them until coilovers fit the budget. The car is great though.

I would advise NOT to take any shortcuts or cheap options in the suspension department. Do yourself a favor, and go with BC Racing Coilovers. Just lowering your car for the sake of lowering it for looks, can completely ruin the experience. Get an aftermarket suspension that will give you the ability to FINE TUNE your suspension in several ways.

All the best,

I don't think that BC makes them for 1st gen? I have BC's and they are very high quality for sure and are now cheaper than doing new struts and springs from OEM

I actually had a 95 Q45 and I transferred the suspension over to my 1990 Q45, Eibach springs not coilovers and Tokico shocks, I even have the photo's of the Transferred Suspension, So if you don't want to do the coilovers just search the web and you should be able to find some Eibach springs for your 94Q45

Those springs haven't been made in over 10 years...you may find a set on someone's shelf with a serious layer of dust on the top, but they are have been the way of the dinosaur for a long time.
