Car was running extremely rough. Mechanic said 2 fuel injectors were bad. With 134,000+ miles, as precaution, decided to replace all 8 fuel injectors (with re-manufactured GB's). Car ran smooth for 3 days, then started rough/misfiring again. Was told 1 of the remanu injectors was bad, so replaced with another. Just got car back & still running rough. Now being told it's a cylinder problem (no specifics given). Was told the power source to injector, the coil and spark plugs were good. Love the car, not going to quit on it. What specific questions should I be asking mechanic? What's the next logical problem/cause or trouble shoot area? Any suggestions?Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thnx.

I take it you don't have much mechanicals skill other wise you would be the one doing the work AKA DIY.

Do you know how your mechanic confirmed you had 2 bad injectors?

How did your mechanic find out one of the remmaned AKA used injectors was bad?

The only other thing in the "cylinder problem" it could be is a coil pack bit those are rare failures.

I sugest you or your mechanic take a look at this if thise procedure has'nt already been done: http://q45.org/ohminjectors.html.

What other maintance history do you have on the car?

Have you checked for intake, exhaust and injector leaks?

How are your motor mounts?

Welcome to NICO.
