My idle has been rough for a while. This week in L.A., the temp went into the 30,s which is rare. During that time, my idle was perfectly smooth. Any ideas what part was improved by colder outside temp. thanks kevin

Cars like the cold air. A car idles better in the cold I think. Hence cold air is denser. Your idling issues could be a number of things. How many miles on the car and if you have done a plenum job are key. BTW after 7 years that is your first post?

car has 202,000. I have never cleaned the plenum myself. It has been removed for fuel injector #3 replacement two years ago

EGR, IAC, plenum, runners, injectors (continuously) all must be cleaned periodically.
