94 Q45 engine Vin# location??

I just recently bought this car and come to find ou that the engine might have been replaced or rebuilt. Trying to find out if the engine has a Vin# that I could match to the car to see if it is the original one

The engine serial # is stamped on the rear top of the block below the IAC. There is no correlation between that # and the VIN, so you really can't tell if it is the original engine.
