Just got the car a month ago 125k. Check engine light comes on once in a while and goes out after shutting off. Doesn't come back on for a couple of hundred miles. I ohmed the injectors, all were 12.5ohms exactly. Ran 1 can Bg44k through, and 1 bottle of chevron techron. Same thing code 45. So I changed both O2 sensors. Reset ecu again and darn light/code again. The shop here said don't worry about it till the light stays on. I need some help/advice. Would a rail flush help. The shop said that code is pretty vague, says it picks up a rich condition in the exhaust??? Is there a way I could narrow it down to something. Just repalced air, fuel fileter and fuel pump, plugs, knock sensors. code says leaky injector, but what exactly does that mean. Car still gets 17mpg all around and runs smooth even when the light came on.. HELP

Code 45 means "runs richer than expected" against preprogramed values or the adaptive learn is outside of the normal range.

Assumming you used new oem O2 could be dirty TB/plenum/valves carbon restricting air flow a bit, or MAF voltages off a small amount. PCV system cleaned of oil residue? EGR clean?..........totally blocked would set another code but restricted is another matter.

Do you blow the engine out with frequent high rpm runs or is it just chugged around town?

One would study the O2 voltage and look at the switch time to narrow down - Which bank. Then analyse some more to find which cylinder.

Do a turned off rail pressure test [clamp off return line] and check how long the pressure is maintained [injector leak].
