I have a 1994 Q45 with the driver's side back seat power door lock working intermittently. I don't think the problem is with the solenoid of the door lock, but rather a relay problem.

Where would the relay for this be located?

What other problems other than the relay could have caused this?

Thanks,

Are you unable to lock unlock from the front door control switch and the rear door latch? If you've ruled out the door lock actuator then the 94-96 has a power window amplifier (LCU?) in each door and I believe it also controls the door lock function. It's the only controller mounted on the door when the door panel is removed. Can't miss it. It's a common failure item and a new LCU is $100+ through our sponsors.

goody90q45,
What is the part number to the LCU (drivers side rear)? Can I get it cheaper at say autozone.com (oem or other manufacturer)?
