Unsnap 4 plastic shields, remove one bolt beneath each one, unplug just one connector and the seat comes out. It's really very easy. I think I would remove the seat and make sure a coin or some other foreign object is not jamming the rail.
Have you done the self-diagnosis outlined in the electrical section (EL) of the FSM? It could point to the LCU or the door-mounted seat controller. I wouldn't suspect the BCM if the other seat is working good. Good luck.
