So I went auction crazy and bought a 94 Q w 245k miles no interior electric for $900! Yikes!

Folks I love this car!

The rear brakes had pads as thick as playing cards and the rh rotor was 1/16 th inch - No kidding!

So now I have brakes. This weekend I put in platinum plugs!

I will soon replace the front brakes & rotors.

I need shocks. The dips in the road at 80 are tough!

This is the fastest car I've owned (including a 63 cutlass supreme)!

q1) Which cheap trouble scanner to buy?q2) Boy these electric gremlins are weird! That's no question.q3) Does this engine really have 245k miles?q4) Wanna race? LOL!

Ciao For Now

Congrats and welcome to NICO!

q1) unfortunately the '94 is OBD I and there isn't really a "cheap" trouble scanner. If you look down a bit you'll see a thread called "Consult Group Buy" or something like that. You need a consult cable/adapter and a laptop and you can do a lot with your ECU. Read sensors, gauges, trouble codes, and more.q2) Most will agree. Electrics rarely bother me.q3) Most likely it does!q4) Sure I'll race ya!

Tokico Blues are popular shocks on the board.

For parts, nearly everyone here will steer you to Joe at Infiniti of Scottsdale for the bargains if you are buying OEM. He gives us all good deals, just tell him you are with NICO.

Welcome again!
