'94 Q transmission question.

It seems that I have WAY too much fluid in the transmission; hot or cold. It is always about 1 inch above the hot max mark. I drained about 2 quarts and it still looks high. What is the deal?

Are you sure it's not too low and foaming?

I got the same problem .Except mine is leaking it from somewhere.I thought it was cause I over-filled. I washed the undercarriage to see if I could tell where it was coming from but, no luck.

I check it when its warm and running and it shows its got more then it should.

Yes, I am checking it correctly, and no I don't know if it is foaming... Doesn't look foamy.
