Ordered Clarion changer CV737 (Clarion Part Number PN-2144U/Nissan Part Number B8183-C9961) and install kit (brackets) from Inf/Scottsdale. Less than $250 for both, incl. shipping. Truly a plug and play experience...works like a charm.

The Clarion is a Nissan OEM (2000+ Xterra, 2000+Maxima/I30), which comes with a massive cable to connect the Bose head unit to the changer (it's appears about 8 feet long)...if anyone wants/needs it.

Also, if anyone wants the Sony and/or the magazine...the unit is pretty shot...goes to ERR with any moderate bump.

I'll send these for the cost of shipping only.

If that falls through for any reason..I'll pay $$$ for that magazine, I've been rolling around with the 95 Sony changer for months with no magazine, bumping the radio and tapes =(

All after the 93's should be. Look on the antenna side behind the "lining". It's a white-ish 16pin molex plug.

Do you have the part number? Is it an XA or XB?

There is no model# on the front of the unit, the rest of it is surrounded by the mounting location and I havn't removed it. I'm not sure what XA or XB is.

What type of HU comes w/ that aux connection (OEM?). What type of cable used to run from mp3 player?

I'm constantly think about what i should do about my Audio system deficiencies. I think i wanna try sending back the rear speakers and amps to Bose under the '92 recall. Does anybody know how to tell if the amps are bad, i heard that they buzz and pop...BUT...is that when music is playing or would you hear that when you turn volume up/down and such? I cant find anybody in Macon, GA thats very familiar w/ BOSE, they all want you to upgrade, well i dont have New system money now, so i'll keep what i got for now...its a bit frustrating.

I tried searching for that thread that had the addr for where to send amps to BOSE anybody has it ??

Lots of players come with aux connections... Just have to look for an "aux in" thing...

Use the same kind of cable with the connector that is on headphones.. I dont remember the correct nomenclature, but its pretty much universal.. If they use RCAs theres plenty of things you can get to go from RCA to universal and vice versa...

The amps will start to squeak under loud bass, and then get progressively worse until they finally die.....

Bose is worthless unless you have a fresh system.. You can get a nice system for a LOT cheaper than it woudl cost to get a new bose..

The cartridge or magazine has a model/part number XA-10B for example. YOu'd need to knwo that as not all 10 disc Sony cartridges are the same.
