It seems like every year I have a couple of injector o-ring failures. By failure, I mean lots of fuel dumping into the cylinders taking it to the verge of hydro-locking, and no doubt beating the heck out of the cylinders in the process. Typically these o-rings are failing, not on assembly, but after about a year. When I replace any inside injectors or o-rings, I replace all of the o-rings very meticulously with lots of lube. Any recommendations for brands or sources on o-rings that can handle the ethanol?

since rubber and plastic get torn up by Ethanol, I think for now as far as I know and have done no research the answer is NO.

But there are injectors that supposedly hold up to E10 and I know 1990Q45 has been using them now for a while might ask him.

My 96Q was built 13 years ago this month....still using the same o rings and injectors that were installed in japan on the assembly line- so why not just stick with oem o-rings from your local Infiniti dealer?

What and do you use to maintain the fuel system and every when.

Like BG44k every oil change and ISO-HEET every month, or do you use anything else or do you use ISO-HEET more frequently?

I don't use either of these additives. Are they more effective for the 0-rings or for the injectors.

There good for where ever fuel touches.

Use BG44K for cleaning the fuel injectors and fuel system, BG won't clear servery clogged injectors a BG power flush is need for that.

ISO-HEET: removes water from the fuel system, Use this at least once a month or more often.
