Has anyone rebuilt a brake caliper on a Q? My RR has a torn boot and it's causing the piston to stick...thinking of rebuilding them myself. Pros/cons?

I did my fronts. The most annoying thing was getting the new seals to stay seated while working the piston into the caliper. Take your time and do it right. That's one job you simply cannot afford to screw up. If you don't have shop air you'll have a heck of a time getting the pistons out.

I have read all the posts applicable to the Q for caliper rebuilds. This one is the closest write-up I can find. Mine is a 94 Q45T and the passenger rear piston seal is torn. Would someone know of a write-up or is this in the FSM on how to rebuild them? I know that I will need snap-ring pliers and the caliper tool for the pistons to screw in and out. I also have a small air compressor which I assume will be used to force the piston out? Could someone elaborate? A rough step by step would be very helpful. I don't anticipate it will be too difficult I just want to be prepared. I plan on rebuilding all of them as I have all the replacement items. I will try and take pictures and update the post for the benefit of all who need help in the future. Thanks in advance. Ed
