Recently installed new clips that the brake pads sit on ( 1 was missing) and noticed there was a plug on the caliper with about 4 " of wire hanging out of it but I don't see the other end anywhere, not sure if it is for the brake pad wear indicator or for the TCS ??, anyway there is another wire attached to the caliper, any idea where the other end of this wire should be? Could this be why My TCS lights always come on?

Thanks

ABS Wheel Speed Sensor is located on passenger side front brake caliper. It plugs in at top of brake caliper and has rubber boot protector. It runs to the front brake pad and sensor normally runs a long 3RD link and bottom of strut mount threw wheel well into engine compartment.

this is the pass. side front I was asking about, sorry didn't specify in previous post. would this wire not being connected cause any driveability problems?

I still don't know for sure or not if it was your ABS Sensor was it as I described? If your ABS system is not functioning properly your brakes will work manually which will cause pre-mature wear on brake system!
