I have a 94 Pathfinder and it has been parked for about 5 months (although it does get started every couple weeks) I got in it yesterday to clean it out and noticed that the carpet on the passenger side was all wet. So I checked for leaks in the windshield and made sure the door was closed and the window was up which of course they were. So I was thinking it's the heater core so I took everything apart took the seat out to pull the carpet back and only the floorboard is wet not the wheel weld or anything else. I would think that if it was the heater core the water would run down the wheel weld but there is no sign of moisture there at all. So I am truly stumped. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks so much!!! Oh yeah my radiator is still full to the top and the heater hasn't been run since probably September 2015!!

Run a garden hose up to your windshield and stream water into the cowl below the windshield. Then you can open the doors, look in the jamb, and verify that water is flowing out of the bottom of the car via the drains properly.

I could also be a leak in the wheel well. I'd pull up the carpet to the metal and see if you can see any gaps. The only other thing that would cause moisture like that if it's not external water is a plugged drain for the A/C.

Common problem it seems. Check out this thread from a few years ago.
