I recently put a new engine in my pathfinder and need to tighten the crankshaft bolt to 90-98 ft lbs...only problem is I don't know how to stop the engine from turning so that I can do this...Is there a trick somewhere.

Use a chain wrench..... You can get them at sears and things like tha.t what you do is wrap the chain around the crank pulley, and then hold the chain wrench while you tighten.. as you pull tighter on the chain wrench, it will pull tighter against the pulley.....

Yeah that will work, but a lot of times when your dealing with torque values that high the belt breaks...
