Hello, anyone that is interested I'm doing a frame rebuild
I have AUTO CAD FILES that I have created. I have found that a lot
Of pathfinders frames rotted away but the cab and engine
Was still in excellent condition. So I am reviving this pathfinder
To ride again..........I've got pics of my progress

Pics of progress will be nice. Lots of Pathys bit the dust years too soon because of rotten frames.

+1... I'm interested in the project. Anyone got links or resources for a total frame-swap or frame upgrade how-to?

this frame wow

enjoy oh if you want to know the degree of angle I used it was 10 degrees
My Dad and I cut V out of the steel then heated it to bend and welled it. there are
some out there that cut the tube in half and re-weld this does make it harder to keep it straight, from the heat in the welding process. my frame is complete attached one-piece tube. we cut 1-3/4" out of the first and second bend and 3/4" out of the last bend.

decided to use leaf springs off a 92 nissan 2wd truck so far so good
I also had to cut all the mounts off the excising pathfinder axle and will have to
make a mount for it to set on the leaf springs just like the 92 nissan 2wd truck

Wow, that's pretty bad, some of the worst frame rot I've seen on a Pathfinder.

Clean looking Pathfinder. Is it an auto or manual?

Good luck with the frame repair!

You may want to look into bypassing the stock transmission cooler at some point, if you haven't already done so. It's been known to clog and kill the transmission.

Sorry to revive a old post, but I am looking at trying to fix/rebuilding my 1995 Nissan pickup frame, which is in about the same condition (if not worst) as the one from your pathfinder. I am thinking that I might have to junk it, but wanted to see if you were successful with your fix and if so how has it held up over the past couple years.

Thanks
