Hello All! I am new to the Q world having purchase my first this week. I bought a 94 Q45. The car is very clean with only a few things to repair. Thank you to all who maintain and participate in this forum. I use one for my BMW X5 and another forum for my Harleys. What did we every do before forums???

Anyway, I am starting my repairs with the passenger door. The lock acuator is not working and I have found topic on the forum about that. But I also have a window thing going on. Window rolls up and down just fine but appears that the upper limit is not work and the strange thing (to me) it that is has power all the time. You can roll the window up or down anytime with or without the key in the car. Any thoughts?

Again, thank you to all!

my 94 Q45t was my favorite car of all time. Kept it for 14 years. It might be the relay in the rear door. I replaced 2 in my Q. Good luck!

Thank you for the idea. I should have been more clear and said the front passenger door. Does each door have a relay? Where is it located?

On the 94-96 there's a power window amplifier in each door. In the 90-93 there's only one in the driver front door. Take off the door panel and you'll see it since it's the only electrical unit mounted to the door. To remove the panel slide the armrest back to remove it and pry off the seat control trim to expose a total of 4 screws.

If you're inclined to buy used I have what used to be my spares for sale:
