Do you have an SE or a GXE Maxima? They both say "V63000" but they have completely different engines (well...they're vaguely similar at their core but there's no functional similarity).
GXE has a VG30e, which was used in A LOT of Nissans and Infinitis in the mid-90s. Even better, there's no RWD or FWD version...all VG30es can be used either way.
The SE had the VE30DE, and this engine ONLY ever came in the Maxima SE from 1992 through 1994. Not one single other Nissan product ever used this engine.
The unfortunate reality, though, is this: Any Nissan that your engine will go into without spending a LOT of money (more than a working car) is going to be old enough that a rolling chassis won't be much cheaper than a running model. So keeping your engine for another car to save money isn't going to work.
In answer to the other part of your question, cars that used the VG30e include: The 1985-1994 Maxima GXE, 1985-1991 Maxima SE, Infiniti J30, Pathfinder and Hardbody, Infiniti M30, and the Quest. After about 1995, only trucks used that engine, cars all moved to the VQ. And after 2004 the VG was dropped entirely, as the trucks also switched to the VQ. So no "newer" Nissan will be an acceptable recipient for your donor engine.
