So I just replaced the thermostat as it was barely getting to the cold line on the gauge and I could hold the radiator cap in my hand after driving 5 miles. What a pain!
Now with it replaced it heats up to half way up the gauge and then the idle starts dipping down to the first line, 500 rpms? If I touch the pedal it will momentarily sputter before reving up to 13-1400 where it will stay for 5-10 seconds before settling back at 900-1000 rpms for 15-20 seconds before dropping to 500 again.
It is nice to have heat again though as it is in the 20's when I leave work lately!
Any ideas?
