94 Message Board question

I currently have a 240 and about to get a Q45. Only thing wrong with it is he message board needs to be reset? is this a common problem, easy problem to fix? also so i dont make another thread , will a 18x11 + (0-10) and 18x9 +(0-10) fit with running like a 265 40 18 and 225 40 18? Just seeing if something that baller will fit and if so then i can get anything below it. Thanks guysTC

Message board? you mean the digital display on the instrument cluster? Whats it say?

Unless you put a dry erase board somewhere on the car, Im not aware of any "message board" anywhere on a Q45.

yeah im pretty sure he means the digi display. hahaha dry erase!!

There's no resetting it... you fix what's wrong - or hook that particular input to something to fool it, usually ground. Let me guess... it says "Brake Pads Worn" or "XXX Lamp Inoperative"

There are a few fitment threads, but I can tell you very few (search posts by onetongarage) go for "baller fitments" and stretched tires.

I just found some, just didnt change the post ! Yeah it says something about the rear brake light and something else, im pretty sure he dosent know what hes talking about lol.

For the tail lights, you usually have to replace the whole plastic bulb assembly at this point. Its a $20 part, two minutes to install. The new assembly comes with new bulbs too.
