Okay, I have a 94 Maxima SE with the VE engine, history of the car with me and stuff I've done.

1. #6 Injector went bad, replaced, Problem Fixed.2. Had Starting problems, was told to replace injector o-rings on the leaking injector. Found #1 injector was gasy, pulled and replaced both bad o-rings. Problem Fixed.3. Car ran good for aobut 3 months, now the starting problem is back. Need to press the gas all the way down to start the car.4. Another problem developed, with the check engine coming on and going off. When its on the car, seems to studder and accelerate slow. And then suddenly just take off.

Any ideas??

I'm guessing knock sensor? And o-ring(s) went bad?

Sounds like it.Is there a gassy smell to the exhaust immediately after startup? In a situation such as the knock sensor, I always like to test it with a known-good sensor if one is available.

Also, you might find this thread helpful. The situation isn't identical, but it's close enough that the info might be of use to you.

Yes, the exhaust does smell gassy after startup. What if I can't get a good know tester, could I use a 10Mohm resistor in its place to check if its bad?

I'd actually test the injector itself for proper resistance. 10-14 ohms is normal. But if you don't have a multimeter to test with, just go with your method.

check your coolant temp sensor connector for corrosion, also you NEED to pull the code to verify your problem. there are only so many codes on that car.

knock sensor wont create much of a run problem, however it also wont illuminate the CEL. So you had another code in there but it cleared when the problem went away.

How did the sensor connector look?

I just remebered and checked the sensor connector today, it was corroded a little bit with white calcuim looking stuff, so I took some rubbing alcohol to it and cleaned it. The car was already running better today and has been running fine all day, so not sure if that fixed the problem.
