94 Maxima fuel leak by drivers door

I live in Pittsburgh Pa. My maxima has approx 125 000 miles. It has always been a trouble free reliable vehicle. I parked it for the last 6 months since I purchased a smaller fuel efficient Toyota Echo. WHen I finally started it back up, I noticed gasoline spilled on the ground near the close proximity of the drivers door toward the area where you step in. The gas was spilled on the ground. It seemed to occur after the car was started up and running.

Is there a fuel line section nar there that is rubber or a rubber connection between steel line sections in that area? I have had some severe hip problems and not been able to get down to investigate at the ground level. I had hip surgery and would like to look into the problem as soon as the weather warms and the hip heals up a bit more. Thanks.Ed
