hey guys i been on here for a bit. never posted just been reading. i got a 91 s13 hatch and a 92 s13 coupe. but anyway.

the s13 coupe has a 94 motor. and i bought it with transmission for $350$.

for the longest it would run fine then spudder then stop for a couple days then run fine again.

well two nights ago i raced my friends s13 hatch and ever since the spudder wont go away. i figuired cap, plugs, and rotor. idled fine until i got on the street and spudder continues HELP!

what troubleshooting have you done? You may have sensor related issues(MAF most likely), fuel issues(pump, injectors), who knows what else. Give us more info to help narrow it down.

believe it or not..im having the same issue..just started a few weeks ago...im verry interested what you find out..couse ive gone throu everything and havent found my sissue yet.

so far the only thing i did was cap, rotor and plugs MAFS. when i did the little ignition stuff idled better but got on street then spuddering again.

tonight......weather allowing mind you its like 20 degrees F here where i am (oklahoma) so ill try and change out injectors. just happens i got my hatch injects then will try ICM later this week.

now need to adjust idle

My ka's been starting it up too, it will accelerate and idle fairly decent, but if I try to keep the mph's at steady it will begin to bog and miss and whatnot.. is that what yours was doing?

my issue may have been different than yours..i had a slight leak in my head gasket due to the pistons slapping my valves as my timing chain guide and tentioner gave out on me...as i went throu the car wire by wire..sensor by sensor..i narrowed it down to only doing it on warmer days...and when it would get upto operating temp...when this occured..steam would flood into my cylinders cousing a bad mix of fuel and air..basicly shutting the car down...rather bazzar!
