94 jdm 300zx tt 2+2 exhaust question?????????????

ok heres the probem. on the exhaust there are no precats and two good size cats that are near the end of the transmission. each cat has an o2 sensor. the o2 sensors have steel braided lines around the wires and a rubber gomet. at the end of the wires their is a white and red wire that are stripped back.right next to the o2 sensors on the chassis of the car is where it appears that the 02 sensor wires go into the cabin of the car.

now im not familiar with why the o2 sensors go into the cabin of the car let alone where they would go to. anyone have any knowledge of this? i will try to get pics if needed. i just have no clue where or why and o2 sensor would go inside the car. and before i tear up the interior to take the carpet out to search i wanted to try to get as much info as possible about them.

their is also an o2 sensor on each turbo dump pipe that conect into the main engine harness. so their is a total of 4 o2 sensors on this car?

i know this is a bad explination i just dont know how else to describe it. thank you in advance for any help.

no man we got it started today!!!!!!!!!!!! she fired right up. i just dont know what or where or if i even need those sensors. i plan on upgrading exhaust as soon as it goes through inspection for the title. thne bye bye cats. so i think i just might cut them out and weld over the holes. not sure if i will damage anything.

but ya she starts we just have to put the body back together and then shes done.next weekend we should have it complete. then going to to take it to my house for a bath. man shes dirty.

well after ripping the dash apart i found where the sensors go. they go under the center console to a control moduke. they were ripped of the circuit board so i have to sloder them back on. now im just guessing that these sensor are to throw a code when your cats go bad and not for the egr system. but none the less im going to hook them back up tomorow.
