Finally I ordered the CD player from Crutchfield with the NISSAN/INFINITI harness, DIN pocket and other free stuff that comes with it. Crutchfield does not give any installation instruction on J30s.

So I am a bit nervous not to blow fuses. I thought all J30 would have same wiring and harness. But recently while trying to pull a Bose unit from a 1997 J30, I was surprised to see that the harness adapter is quite different than my J30.

I remember seeing an installation guide written by someone here in NICO, but I have not been able to find that message. Can anyone forward me a link or helpful hints on aftermarket installation. Also I believe I have to calibrate the adapter for 4 freq. right? How would 2ch, 4ch, 6 ch sets differ with the factory Bose unit. How many channels does the factory one had.

Thanks

Did you order it as it was for a 94 Maxima ??They have the same setup.it ould have came with the wiring harness and the diversity antenna adapter.

You will need the Scotsch adapter they sell if your going to keep the Bose speakers.4 channels.
