When that how too says to turn Off diag mode on the ecu it wasnt jokin !!!
Scared me to death !!Thought I might have jacked up the harness wiring when I twisted the ecu around to get to the lamp and switch ..Put it all together and my Daily driver wouldnt start for shizz !!!Pulled it out and sure enough it was in diag mode ..Flooded my J silly..She finally fired and blew a nasty cloud of smoke then purred as usual ..
But hey !!I can pull and turn the ecu in 5 minutes now !!

For those who havent yet ..Pull the passenger side kick panel .Then remove the cover under the glove box ..A few phillips screws on the front edge and two quick snaps at the back ..Disconnect the lamp assy.
Theres a bolt on the front of the ecu frame down down under the floor carpet flap and another nut at the back top . the bolt that nuts on is facing right at ya ..
After those are off work the rear mount off of the bolt and then lower it down and tip the top edge left under the glove box then turn it around being carefull not to stress the wiring harness ..
Lowering it down clears the slot clamp at the top.
Turn the ignition to On but dont start ..turn the diag screw clockwise till it stops and wait two seconds .. then turn it back counter clockwise and the led will blink the code ..
Long blinks are the first digit .. short blinks are the second digit .
